Happy Dog Happy Owner is having an agility class introductory workshop. It could be something really fun for you and your dog. The class is $25 for 2 hours June 11th at 3pm in Ocean Beach/Point Loma.

Why you and your dog should try agility…

  • Agility allows you to challenge your dog with tasks such as: jumping over hurdles, running through tunnels, jumping through tires, climbing an A-frame, navigating a see-saw, and running through weave poles.
  • Agility offers variety and provides both mental and physical challenges for you and your dog.
  • Agility is great exercise. It gives your dog the opportunity to run, jump, balance, climb, and crawl.
  • Agility builds confidence, focus, and purpose in a safe and fun environment.
  • Agility training programs help you build a bond with your dog based on trust, respect and cooperation. The teamwork stimulates a positive and healthy human-to-dog relationship.
  • Agility training programs provide you the opportunity to socialize with other dog enthusiasts, set achievement goals, and even prepare for competition.
  • Agility is all about having fun with your dog!

All shapes, sizes, levels, and breeds of dog are welcome.

This introductory level agility workshop is for dogs that don’t have any prior agility experience. This workshop will introduce you and your dog to the agility obstacles in a safe and fun environment, without having to commit to a multi-session class. It is the perfect way to determine if agility is right for you and your dog. We recommend completion of Level 1 obedience (or equivalent) prior to enrolling in this workshop. Class size is limited to 8 dogs.
